NYE Dance Festival : Lights All Night
Looking for an epic event to close out 2012 and welcome in 2013? Well folks, here it is. Grab your party hats and your dancin’ shoes and meet us at Lights All Night in Dallas, TX! The initial lineup for the 3-day festival features EDM heavy-hitters like Avicii, Bassnectar, and Axwell (of Swedish House Mafia) as well as some stellar up-and-coming undercards (see Madeon, Minnesota, and Archnemesis.) Philly producer and Boston U student SKetcho celebrated his 21st birthday by releasing an impressive project he’s been working on for the past few months. Producer and sound engineer for hip-hop duo Moosh & Twist, has been working on the MGMT x Jay-Z mashup album for the past several months and finally decided to drop this fine tuned 12 track tape. Mashup isn’t necessarily my thing to want to promote nor distribute because I don’t find it original and believe it all has a karaoke style to it, but when a great mashup tape comes across like this one there is no doubt that I will share it with you Tap heads. Do not be thrown off by anything here because this kid has got what I see as the next Xaphoon style up and coming.

SOJA
D.C.- based reggae jam band have more than just a political and environmental consciousness, but most importantly a huge heart. They are making a guest appearance at the Nicole F. Miller Benefit Concert at the Music Farm in Charleston, SC. In memory of Nicole, SOJA will also support the establishment of the Nicole F. Miller Memorial Scholarship at Trident Technical College. This event is for all ages and will be held on Friday, December 30 at the Music Farm. Fresh On Tap would also like to thank SOJA for this lending hand as Nicole will always be remembered and loved by her loved ones.
